Google Slide

             Back ago, especially in my high school life, the only application that I know to make presentation is only Power point. I thought power point is the great application to make a great presentation at that time, but it changes when I learn and found out that there a lot of application over that we can use to make presentation become more interesting and also easy especially Google slide application. Google slide is an easy application that provided for every Google user. Basically Google slide is a presentation application to make our application become more interesting, like power point but in Google Slide we can found lot of benefit that we can not find it in the power point. Every people who have a Google account they will directly can use that application without require to make a new account anymore. Here I will share some the tips and trick how to make a presentation using Google slide and the strength and also the weaknesses using this application.

How to make Presentation in Google Slide.

First thing first, to make a presentation using this application is very easy, the only thing you need to do is:

•  You have to make sure that you have a Gmail(Google mail) account, If you already have a Gmail account, login in your Gmail and you will be directly lead to the Google slide application.
• After that, to make a new presentation point you need to click “Start a new presentation”option.
• After click that, you will have your presentation paper work. You can change your theme or use the usual theme that Google slide give the first time.
• After you’ve done with your presentation making process, don’t forget to rename “Untitled presentation” box above, with your presentation title name, and your presentation will automatically saved in your Google slide account. It’s very easy right.

The Google Slide's Strength

Google slide application is easy to use and we can access it anytime as long as we have an internet connection. The thing that I like the most while make a presentation with this application is:

1.     Collaboration program. What a great and creative tools that Google slide provide is we can edit the presentation with our friends, colleagues, in the different place even country. Google slide provide a collaboration program that make us can edit the presentation with our friends although we do not stay or live in the same place or country with them. Collaboration program is very easy to use, we just invite the collaborator using E-mail and they will have an access to edit the presentation together with us. No worry if we have a group presentation assignment and one of our friends do not want to help us to make it. In Google slide people who edit the page in the document will be recorded. All the tracks in the presentation will be recorded in this application so we can figure out someone who participate helping the presentation and someone who are not. Also Google slide give us the comment section box, which we can discuss the topic further via online with our friends.

2.     Lot of awesome input program. The good side using this app is, we can browse and develop our input program easily such as theme. Google slide over great choice to beautify the presentation page, and we can use lot of the theme and if want to add more theme, we also can download it via online or we can insert the theme as well. Not only the theme, we also can put a video in the page section to make our presentation more clear, and numerous font that we can use fastly, easily and free.

3.     Easy to access. The other benefit that I have experience using this application is, I can easily access the Google slide in any device. I can access it from my hand phone or any other gadget as long as my Google account with me I can login in any device that I like.

4.     Save automatically program. Any other great program over in this application is, the automatic save writing. I do not have to worry with the blackout anymore, because all of my writing will be saved automatically in my Google slide account. The ctr+S it not really needed in this application I suppose.

5.     Speaker notes. Every time I have a presentation in front of the class, I will also make a bunch of paper notes then I can read it  if I can not remember the point and the long explanation of my presentation. Bring lot of paper notes is very complicated if we speak before the class, it also make me look unprepare. Once again, everything changes when I using a Google slide application. The awesome side program that addict me to use this application is, I can secretly put my notes in the below of my presentation point which is only displayed on my computer screen, so the audience can not read my secret personal note, and I can make my presentation become more confident without my complicated paper notes anymore.

6.  Offline use. The other program that Google slide over to the user is, we can edit our presentation assignment in offline mode. Just download Google Slide application either in your computer, or gadget, and do some additional setting, I can edit my presentation offlline.

Google Slide's Weaknesess.

After realize lot of benefit that Google slide application over to the user 

above. I also experience the bad time while using this application program.

1.     Offline mode only provide if we are download the application. When I want to do some editing in offline mode, I have to download the app which the size is quite big and I have to remove some my app to install this app.

2.     Absolutely if we want to edit the last document via offline we have to make the first document via online, which is we still have to access it using internet.

3.     Using the High browser resolution. It happened to me when I want to edit my last file in my old computer, the Google Slide application can not open in my general Google chrome in my browser and ask me to increase my Google chrome browser.

4.     The collaborator program can be good option or can not be a good option. The problem in the collaborator program is, if one of our friends does the mistake while editing the presentation file, all the mistake will automatically save and can become more dangerous. 

Prezi

Prezi is a great presentation application to make the user become more creative with give the user chance to design and enhance their presentation appearance using lot of the tools. it actually a presentation tools like Power point and Google slide, but in prezi you do not make slide to show each point of your presentation, but in the prezi you have to zoom in or out and manage your presentation with maybe stick it into some cute icon and we click it and it will show every material of our presentation. My first experience using Prezi application I can said that this application is remarkable, I have never think that we can design our presentation look like video if we are preview it. Before I meet and use Prezi application, the only way I make a presentation only put the definition, notes, in the slide to slide and sometime add a picture so audience will not get bored, but right now I can make a presentation in the unique way, creative way and absolutely it very a great media to use when we want to make an interesting presentation that interact audience attention.

How to Create a Presentation in Prezi.

To make a great presentation using prezi is very easy, here I will give some explanation to make a presentation with Prezi.

1.  Open Prezi application, and sign up with your E-mail.
2. After you already fill all requirements in the sign up process, choose the free account mode, and create a public free account.Afterward you will have your Prize account and click get started.
3. Then, you will enter your prezi account and will find the recommendation video about guidance as the first people who login in the prezi if you do not want to watch it then skip.
4.  Next, Create New prezi .
5. Manage your presentation with choose the template which is provided in the prezi and click “Use This Template”. You can choose educational, business, marketing template and much more as you wish.
6. Edit your presentation with move the slide, and you can also add frame or subtopic if you need more.
7. After you finishing your work, don’t forget to rename your presentation names and click save.

The Prezi's Strength.

Absolutely Prezi application is very awesome and amazing, we can make the dull presentation become more interesting, and my favorite part when using this application is:

1.     Free account. With that great tools that prezi over to the user, we also can access it with free. We can make amazing presentation as a free user in the prezi only using the internet connection and we can make the audience do not get bored with new presentation appearence.

2.     Collaboration program. It’s same as Google Slides have, we can also invite our friend to join either for edit our presentation, or just send our presentation to make them can give the comment in our prezi although we do not in the same place. We can invite them using email, and they will receive our prezi presentation as soon as we send it.

3.     Numerous Template themes. The most awesome part is, I can choose and customize the theme like  my expectation. Prezi provide lot of template to their user, the template in the prezi are a lot. You can use the educational, business, marketing and much more. Even if we are not satisfied with the template that already given in the prezi, we can change it with insert the picture and make it as our template or background.

4.     Enrich with the latest Tools. Prezi almost have every tools that we need to make a great presentation. We can insert the YouTube video if we want to show some video to the audience, also prezi provide arrow tools, symbol and shape, draw line, highlighter, add music background and many more.

5.     Insert power point slide, if you still miss using a power point slide, no need to worry because I found out the tool in the prezi where we can add power point slide in our prezi presentation slide.

Prezi's Weakness.

Absolutely Prezi give lot of benefit for us to be more creative to make an interesting

presentation point and also make us learn how to design the presentation to the next level.

However with all of that strength, Prezi also have the weaknesses when use this 

presentation editing program such as:

1.  Need High Internet Connection. The thing that I do not like while making the presentation using prezi is, I have to wait the loading process for a very long time because prezi need high internet connection in processing and load the data. I spend lot of the time to wait the loading process , or go  to the Internet cafe to get the good internet connection for finishing the Presentation project in Prez more faster.
2.  High Browser quality. While I make a presentation in Prezi I have to change my computer until three times just because my computer and my friend’s computer do not have high browser quality.  I have to upgrade my browser which is take lot of the time and also space.
3.  Bit complicated.  If this the first time you are using this application, I highly recommend you to watch the video guidance about how to make prezi. Because Prezi is an advance presentation Application, it takes a lot of the time for me to learn and understand the use of the lay out of this application.
4.  PAY!. If you want to get more option, template and easiness to make the presentation using Prezi. You have to pay some money to get the higher great account quality.
5.  Zoom only. Prezi is an application to make a presentation with zoom in and out some area. The problem is, we can only zoom in and out which is very monotone and we have to thinking deeper to make our presentation do not look boring every time using this application.
6.  Online only. To access and edit the data in Prezi, we can not make it in offline mode like Google slide and power point do. That is why we have to make sure we have good Internet connection every time wan to use this presentation.
7.  Computer only. Very different with Google slide, we can not access and edit our presentation in Hand phone. Actually we can download Prezi application in the Google Play Store, but it only to play the presentation not for making or do the editing.

         Google slide and Prezi absolutely have their own strength and weaknesess  because of the different program that they over to the user. Actually Either we use Google slide or Prezi, we can get lot of benefit with using that application to make our presentation become more enchanting in the easy way. However, after using Google slide and Prezi app, I prefer to use Google Slide application than Prezi application.  I choose Google Slide because it more simpler to use and  I can access it anytime  either in my Computer or hand phone for sudden presentation. I can make and edit presentation using google slide in my Hand phone as well. Beside simple and more easy to use, Google slide application do not require High Internet connection like Prezi do.

Which One better??

In my view, to increase and develop our material lesson especially in Educational matter, especially to teach the student, Google Slide and Prezi are useful program that can be taught in the student to increase and boost their creativity to design a good presentation with using those application. Especially in the teaching process, the teacher can use those application to make and deliver the lesson material become more interesting and increase students attention and curiosity.

A:  thats sound great, the weather here is so cold and it cloudy all day , it seem Indonesia will have rain season in this week, how about there?

B: Canada in spring season  now, the weather is so warm and the scenery is so awesome , although I do not have chance to go in some tourism place because of my busy schedule here .

A:Thats great, I think that is good concept because hijab is really famous in Indonesia and our company should try new different style to make our customer will not get bored ,our division have meeting  on 26 may right? Lets disscus it more further, Iam really interested in developing that concept as well.

Novel Corner (The Giver Summary)

The Giver Summary

The Giver novel from Lois lowrey show about 11years old boy called Jonas who live in the big community which seemed as a peacfeul and perfect place to live, there are no crime, no dispute everything is ordered with well. Everything is look awesome and pleasing, but actually is just pseudo. In Jonas community actually there no colour, no feeling , no joy, sex , music, climate, everything is totally same! which being different is totally shameful in this community. Human do not have the privilage to choose what they want and what they life would be by themselves, every choice is lies on The Elders hand such as spouse, Job, childern,everything will be choosen by The Elder. Give a birth and being a mother is a honourable job for women in this world, but not in this community. Being a mother or they call it with birthmother, is judged as one of the job that have lower value and make them as a labor for the rest of their lives after give birth 3 times. The value of life is not a big deal in this community , they will release everyone who break the rules third times, people who make dispute or complication, old people , the weakest infant, the twins baby, or someone who want  to express their individuality with no mercy!. Unfortunately the citizen in that community know the fact of release mean they will be sent in elsewhere, instead they will get injected with deadly injection and throw it like a rubbish .

In short Jonas live with his family , a father who really like surrounding himself to a childern and working in nurturer department,also his intelegent mother who working in Department of Justice , and his cute 8 years old sister called lily that very talk active girl and like to tell story to her family. Actually the reason why Jonas only have 4family member because of his community has the unique rule that allow in one family there are only have 4memnber one female, male and two childern. And in fine every December, Jonas’s community have huge unique ceremony to celebrate the new age of the childern in the community until they reach 12 years old. They will be given a job or they called it as assignment with the further training once in their life. Jonas also will turn in 12 years old on this December, but he still do not have idea or vision what kind of assignment that he will get and make him worry and afraid about his future. Jonas think he is so different with his friend that seem very sure what kind of field that they will get as their assignment.  Actually, Jonas is different than the other community member but he do not realize it. The sign that make Jonas different than other community members is, he has high quality too see beyond. He begin to see a colour at glimpse but he do not realize it was a colour, because the sameness make him do not know what is colour look a like.

Day after day pass and the day of big ceremony come, Jonas patiently wait his turn to receive an assigment . All of Jonas’s friend begin get their assignment , Doctor, Birthmother, Nurturer, Engineereing, Pilot, Director of Recreation, Instructor, Caretaker of the old, but the most confusing situation that make lot of people and Jonas surprised is the chief elders passed jonas turned. The chief put Jonas turn in the last and explain to all of the community that jonas has been selected as the next Receiver of memory, one of the most honourable and important assignment in that community because of his high quality lntelligence, intergrity,courage that make him possible to be the Receiver. At the first time, Jonas feel shocked,afraid and worry with the new assignment  that he got, but he still have to take the assignment for the community future.

He begin follow his training that located in the annex building with the old man who being the receiver for a long time, and jonas called him The Giver. On the begining in his training as the receiver , the giver explain about what is receiver of memories assignment look a like, and begin to transfer the good memories such as how it feel to touch snow and play the sled on the snow hill, feel the sunshine, which Jonas can not found it on his community because of the sameness.

Day by day jonas receive lot of good memories with well,  even he mangaged to see the colour perfectly. Nedless to say the memoreise is not only the good one , but there also lot of bad memories which the giver have to transfer it to Jonas. At first The Giver feel worry and afraid  if he would make the same mistake like 10years ago with a girls called Rosemerry the new candidate of the receiver at that time that ask to be released after receive the bad memories of loneliness from a child taken from its parents. But The giver still have to transfer the bad memories and he begin trasnfer memories such as, how it feels desperate in the war, dealing the hunger, pain, and make Jonas surprised so much because of he never feel that feeling before. Jonas do not want to continue his assignment and quit being receiver after he receives those memories, but he change it because only Jonas that can handle this assignment  and make him back again to continue his training as the receiver of memory. Almost one year Jonas follow the training,and he got lot of memory either good or the bad from the Giver .

Unfortunately after all of the memories that Jonas get, it change jonas view about his community. He begin see the community member only human with the death soul. They do not know the feeling of love actually like , how is the feeling of the real pain, and how is the feeling of losing someone die, they never know about it never!. The fact that make Jonas begin angry and feel shame is, after he find out about the truth of release. He talk to the giver and plan to rebel because he want to change the community life . The giver support him so much and suggest Jonas to fake his own death and run away from the community to elsewhere which will make the memories disperse and back to the community again.

Jonas and The giver make a good escape rebelion plan, unfortunately the palnning change when Jonas find out about the fact that a baby that his father bring home and Jonas used to take care called Gabriel will be released on the next morning because Gabriel always cry all night and make a troublesome. Jonas decided to run away faster than it already planned with The Giver . He push his father’s bicycle faster far from the communiy teritory. The landscape become colourful, they can see animal, the real sun, rain, and many more. Nedless to say, The long journey make Jonas and baby Gabe run out of the food, also the climate change make it bit complicated. Jonas keep continuing  the journey and transfer good memories to make baby gabe in the good condition . Snow begin to fall and Jonas condition getting worse but he keep going. Finally with his weak body condition, Jonas force himself toward the snow hill and found the sled in the top of the hill that look like with the sled in his first memories from training. Jonas and baby gabe ride the sled downward with full of hope there is the place that held their future and their past is waiting for them. As the sled surf downward, Jonas force his eyes and begin could see a lights shining from one of the windows house with a music,although it can be just an echo .

News Corner ( The Unbelievable Fact of Marijuana)

Marijuana and the country we’re living today!

Indonesian society should welcome marijuana to develop and increase their country to be not left behind anymore. Cannabis or as known as Marijuana, actually is a famous plant or drugs that have thousands benefit for human life and it grow up quite well in Indonesia country. Unfortunately the image of marijuana in Indonesia is not as good as its benefit, the lack education and information about this precious plant, make Lot of Indonesian society just look the negative side of marijuana as it rumored, and judge it as a disgusting and useless plant that will give lot of dispute and destroy the future of the country. Indonesia does not legalize any kind of the production. They claimed that marijuana contain 60 substance or called as cannabinoids and Tetra Hydro Canabinol(THC) that can give an euphoria feeling which is very extremely dangerous addictive for the user. Actually if the society try to look it from another angle and learn the educational information about marijuana further, this substance is not dangerous as it is rumored on the television, newspaper or so on. Every inch of marijuana plants is precious and can be used for industrial matter, medical treatment, and many more. That is why based on that case, we know how much positive impact that we can get from marijuana, and why we should consider the legalization to create a better future based on Four palpable reason we recall next: 1. Marijuana could have a big medical use for Indonesian Cancer patients, 2. The abundant alternative use of Marijuana, 3. The increasing impact in economics sector, 4.Tackling the black market.

Lets begin with the first one, the legalization of marijuana can increase the life chance for all of the cancer patient in Indonesia. The number of cancer patient in Indonesia is increasing day by day. Based on the data from Riset Kesehatan Dasar from 2007 (Riskesdas) there around 5,7% people die because of cancer disease in Indonesia. Unfortunately this situation is getting worse! Because there not lot of adequate hospital that can provide proper and enough drugs to cure cancer patient. Actually if we just look at this plant straight as the medical drugs, we will see that the only solution is to sit on the table with our government support the researchers in Indonesia to develop and provide medical treatments for every cancer patients in Indonesia. Nowadays there are lots of big country in the world that do the research to improve the use of marijuana for human health, and the result of the research always show the improvement and give the satisfying result. Based on medical article in Discovery health, using marijuana is a good choice to decrease the nausea of chemotherapy side effect, and to decrease and kill cancer cell as well. This statement is strengthened by the researcher in California Pasific Medical Centre San Fransisco. They spent almost 20 years to research the substance in marijuana and the result is very satisfying as expected. They found the substance in marijuana can kill cancer cell and prevent the growth as well. Beside that there are lot of cancer patient that successfully beat cancer disease using marijuana as their drugs treatment. For instance the cancer survivor Mike Cutler 63 years old from East Sussesx Inggris cured his cancer with Marijuana. In fact in 2009 he got transplantation, but apparently the transplantation did not show great improvement and the cancer cell strike back other part of his body in 2012. Surpsingly his life has change when he found out medical information mentioned that cancer can be cured with marijuana. He tried it and the result was very surprising. Because his regular use with using marijuana as a  treatment, his body getting better day after day and finally defeated his cancer disease. Based on that story, we can imagine how much Indonesian cancer patient that we can help with using marijuana as the medical treatment and give them a slight of miracle called life.

The second reason I want to reveal is about the alternative use of marijuana. Marijuana is one of the plants that easily can be planted in any place especially in the fertile land such as Indonesia. Marijuana also known as a plant with good quality fiber which can be used for many alternative purposes. Since long time ago, marijuana is been used to use make armor, paper, parachute, rope and many more. In addition related to the good fiber quality, lot of country use it for any kind of industrial purposes as well! For example China uses marijuana’s fiber to produce huge amount of good clothes every day. Besides that, the quick growth of the fibers from Marijuana still have other alternative use, to make paper and books, which  can solve the problem to decreas the deforestation in Indonesia. Based on the research Kementrian Kehutanan Republik Indonesia(KKRI), one of the Indonesian forest ministry division revealed that, at least 1,1 million or around 2% of Indonesian forest shrinks every year, Also EG Tog Manurung the chief of forest watch Indonesia organization (FWI) said  that “The decrease amount of Indonesian forest is very pathetic, every minute Indonesian people lose their forest area around three soccer field because of the illegal logging” ("Tiap menit, Indonesia", 2014). The problem happened because to make newspaper, books, magazines need a large amount of trees and wood which leads to deforestation and extinction of the Indonesian forest. Based on that problem, the abundant alternative use of marijuana can take control to help this deforestation problem. In fact, the paper from marijuana fiber can be recycle until 7 or 8 times which papers from fiber tree only can be recycle around 2 or 3 times, and the growth span of marijuana just take around 6month, so much faster than if we compare it with the growth of tree that need a year maybe more .

The third is, the legalization will give lot of benefit to increase Indonesian economic sector. However, one of the reasons Indonesian economic sectors never advances, because of the uncountable number of Jobless as well. Based on Indonesia Labor Organization (ILO), there are around 200milion jobless due to the lackness of work place which raise the economic problem in increasing number of poverty problem and many more. However, Indonesian people can get out from this economic problem with using marijuana. Based on Indonesian’s marijuana legalization organization, they revealed that “The fiber of Marijuana can be used to make more than 50.000 kinds of commodity and stuff, also the plant is very growth well in Indonesia” ("Seruan Legalkan Ganja", 2011).Based on that statement, Just imagine if the govement can see the positive chance and the production opportunities. Their industrial factor, agriculture will grow and increasing the opportunity of jobs place in Indonesia .furthermore the Government can take the benefit for make the proper regulation about marijuana, such as give sales taxes. For the instance Colorado, can get the profit in the tax selling more than their first estimation from$70 million per year, but surprisingly it increase more than $140 million for sales taxes in 2016 ("Marijuana Legalization And", 2016).

Another reason why Indonesia country has to legalize marijuana for tackling down the black market in their country. The black market raised, because of they sell some stuff which is prohibited in a country such as drugs. The problem is Indonesian prohibit any kind of drugs included Marijuana that have lot of benefit. The government ignores the fact that not all of marijuana user uses it for negative purposes. If they find out people use marijuana although they use it for positive purposes, Indonesian police officer will give them a new home called prison!The problem raise because of those people that use marijuana either for positive reason or just use it for negative reason only have a chance to buy it from black market ilegally. Actually this is extremely dangerous for the society to know the access in black market. As we know if black market  offer every dangerous drugs beside marijuana which increasing the probabilities some  marijuana user use other drugs because of suspicious to use it and have the ability to access it . Actually Indonesian government can tackling this problem and vanish the black market activity with give the strict rules and regulation to make it legal, absolutely it will make lot of people prefer to buy it legally because saftier and they do not have to worry will sent into prison as punishment.

However, with all of the abundant benefit offer by marijuana, there still lot of people and organization that against the legalization which blame the negative effect that marijuana will give. For instance the Opponents view of the legalization comes from the deputy of International Crime and Transnasional Ministry of Indonesia Mr.Spica Tutuhatunewa. He said that marijuana is a plant that give a high addiction to the user which is not good for human body and Indonesia country still have to keep the prohibition. But it is not always correct! according to DR Sanjay Gupta the chief medical corespondence of CNN, clarify that the addiction feeling of consuming marijuana just take around 9-10% for adult, instead  Kokain takes around 20%, heroin 25%, and the addiction of tobacco take the highest place around 30%.

To sum up with the abundant positive impact, the legalization of marijuana will make sure Indonesian country is so much better than before. Marijuana will increase their life chance for cancer patient with comes as a good drugs in the bad cancer medical problem, also the alternative use of marijuana who will help Indonesia country in many sector , the big improvement of Indonesian economic sector that they will get, and the chance to avoid the next generation know the access to enter the black market .However with all of those positive point., Indonesian society should think about it again and consider the legalization, Because of  the prohibition of marijuana utilization in the revealed fields, make us lose Its benefits and make Indonesian always left behind .That is why if Indonesian want  to change their future become better, the legalization of marijuana is the only answer.
