What Is Edpuzzle?

I kind of person who like watching a video on YouTube to look for a teaching method, lesson, subject material, or just watch it to spend my leisure time.The video that i watched usually such as daily vlog video, subject material video, or a video about how to make something or stuff. The thing that always make me curious is, what kind of video editing that the people use actually?. Especially the video about making or teaching something, because they more focus on the voice and without showing their self which is it need more editing skill. Actually, I ever use some video editing application but it very difficult and complicated to use, we have to minimize the size, the tools is also very complicated, especially if we want to add a voice recorded it will take a lot of work and time, because I have to really make sure that the voice recording will not lag. But that is my problem before i know the video editing called EDPuzzle.

Trust me, Edpuzzle is a very awesome video editing that we can use easily and simply . The appearance and the tools is very easy to use especially for the teacher who want to make a video lesson for their students. Edpuzzle really encourage the teacher to make a subject in different way such as make it into video learning and teaching media. Right now teacher can make a unique and interesting teaching media for the students in an easy way and faster. Edpuzzle site isn't only for the teaching matter. The regular user can make anything for editing purpose as well, because in Edpuzzle the user can do any editing related to editing a video, either for teaching, or only for regular editing such as cut the video, add voice note, add recording and so on. For this occasion I will share my experience how to make or do the editing video in EDpuzzle, the strength and weakness while using the video that I like and I dislike, also I will attach my video lesson that i already make with my group in EDPuzzle, just in case if you want to see and figure out the result and the appearance of the video using this site. .

How to make a video lesson with EDPuzzle?

Alright, after we know what is Edpuzzle, lets we learn more further about how to make or editing a video using this site. After using that video editing, I found that using Edpuzzle we can easily  make and do the editing in this site. However if you want to make a video lesson in this site, the thing that you need to do is:

1. You have to log in in  Edpuzzle, and you will have an option  to choose as "Teacher" or " Student". please choose as a teacher so we can do editing and more. (And if this is your first time using that site, you have to follow the step to make a new account).
2. After you already done with that, you will have this interface like the picture below.
   
3. Please choose "My Content" option and then click "Create", if you want to make a video lesson or any editing, you can use your own video, or you can search and use a video that is offer in Edpuzzle as well. 
4.  After that, if you already found your video that you want to use, click the video and click "use it" button.
5. Then please click an icon on the above of your video, you can do the editing such as crop the video, give audio track, add audio note, and make a quiz in that video.
    
6.  If you want to add any editing such as, add voice video and question mark, you can play the video and stop the video anytime to add your voice or question as you wish. You can also remove and undo your editing as well.

    7.After editing your video, don't forget to click save. If you already done with your                 editing then click "Finish" button on the right side of the video,

    8.Choose Assign class if you want to share your video with your students. If you haven't        have a class, then click add class and make your own class. or you can choose "share"        option to share your video link with anyone  .

9. After that you can give some rules, like prevent the students for skipping the video and to make sure your class watch the whole video without skip it, and also give the due date to make the students submit the assignment on time.

10. Click "Assign" button, then don't forget if you want to share it to your class, you can invite the students with sharing your account class code.

The most Favorite thing in Edpuzzle.

Edpuzzle is very awesome and easy to use, however they make the complicated tools become the simple one, especially for the beginner it very friendly and simple to use, Here I will list the the thing that I like in Edpuzzle.

1. The system is very simple and awesome, we can make a lesson subject in the interesting    media, like I explain above we can make a video lesson to our students or to other viewer    into video version. We can create an online class to share the lesson video to them.
2. They have a very unique and simple tools. My favorite tools in Edpuzzle is adding voice, right now I can add my voice easily, just only click the speaker icon and use the headset I can regulate and adjust my voice editing. Beside that, the unique tools that I like most is Quiz tools where I can give and put question also the explanation on the video. 
3. Free account. lets say its very helpful and its free. We don't have to pay money to use this site yet we don have to pay money to upgrade the specifications or the tools, as long as we have an Internet connection then we can access it every time we want.
4. Unlimited video, we can make a lesson video as much as possible. we can make any lesson video to our class with unlimited video. we can make a hundred or thousand video in that site easily any firstly.
5. Unlimited students, yes absolutely! after you make a video and you want to share it with your students or the other user, no need to worry because in Edpuzzle we can invite students as much as possible, it means you can share your link in your class with many students or unlimited user. 
6. Video option. Of course this is my favorite tools when I use edpuzzle, I don't have to worry if I run out of video on my own because Edpuzzle have lot of video option. I can use any video that I want, just type the video that I want  on searching column, then I will get lot of video option from a lot of resource such as YouTube, National Geographic, TED, Crash Course and more. You can use any video from those source or you can upload your own video. Its easy!.
7. The teacher also can review, monitor and give grade to the students who attending and watching the video in the class. the teacher can monitoring the students activity as well.
   
8. No skipping and due date option. Yes absolutely, as the teacher in our online Edpuzzle class, we can make sure the student do not skip any second of the video. We can choose "prevent skipping" option, so the students can not fasten the video. Beside that, we also can give the due date for the assignment that we embed on the video, it will prevent the students that will send the assignment late.
9. Easy to access. With all of the benefit that we get, we can easily access the video only using Internet, computer, and also headset. We don't have to use any other media to use this site. Only Internet data connection, then we can easily access the material in our computer.
10. Flexible to any media. Yes if you do not have a computer around you, no need to worry because we can use it on mobile version, we can access Edpuzzle in our smart phone and also if you want to make it easier you can download the app in google play store.

The Thing That I don't Like in Edpuzzle.

Although Edpuzzle is enrich with lot of benefit that they offer to the user. However Edpuzzle still have some weaknesses that I don't like while using this site such as:

1. Headset problem. Yepp if we want to add our voice note we have to record it using a mic in our headset, however i find that not all of the computer can be used or match with the headset, which is very complicated.
2. Good connection. Yes because this is video online media, we have to make sure that we have good connection to access this site. We have to use Internet connection every time if do not have a good connection then it will effect the time we do the editing.
3. Do not save file automatically, if i use this site, i have to make sure every time I do the editing i have to click the save button to prevent the lost of the data. In edpuzzle the editing can not be saved automatically, which sometime it bit complicated cause of we have to check and hit the save button every time.
4. SLOW. absolutely the thing that i don't like most while using this site is very slow. If i already done with my editing and want to share it to the class or get the link i have to wait for a long time to wait the video at that time i almost spend 15 minute for the 3minutes video duration . Its very take a lot of the time especially if we need it on sudden occasion.
5. The editing tools is very limited. Edpuzzle only have 4 editing tools to cut, recording, add voice notes and add question. there is no tools to add the subtittle or to add more video in one file. 
6. We can't do the editing more than twice. If we already do the edition on our video twice, we can not edit the video anymore. We have to carefully do the editing because after  editing the video twice, we can not edit the video anymore.

Which One better??

In my view, to increase and develop material lesson especially in Educational matter, using Edpuzzle is the answer. I really suggest the teacher to use edpuzzle in teaching process. Edpuzzle can become the option to the teacher to make a lesson easier, faster, and efficient. The teacher can deliver the material lesson in the different and interesting way using any video that related to the lesson. The lesson that delivered into a video will increase students attention and curiosity because video is one of the media that most of students like. However Edpuzzle also can be used to make any lesson or homework as well. The teacher can make the students do the assignment and homework in the creative and unique way, with only share the link and give the due date, then the students can access it anywhere they want.

What is Google Form?

When I hear a sentence “please fill out and make the survey or Quiz for an assignment” the thought that appear for the first time in my head is ”how many do I have to spends to print out the Paper form for this time?”, or “what a waste of paper!”, and so on.

The development of technology nowadays is moving very fast, right now we do not live in the era where we have to collect an information, survey, a quiz in the term of paper sheet anymore!, first reason it spend a lot of money also the second is, it leads to the wasting of paper use for sure!.

Fortunately, now we are living in the era when everything can be easily accessed in the internet to spread or collect information or so on. However, the fast development of the tehnology absolutely happened to the Google as well. Google always develop its feature to give the best and the easiest way for the Google user to access everything using their Google Account. One of the best features is called Google Form. Google Form is an application for every Google user to make an online form that we can use to make everything via online such as, an online survey, formulir, quiz, online feedback, give the input  based on online form. Actually there a hundred media and application that you can find in the interenet to make a form, survey and so on such as: surveymonkey, formsite, formstack, but the thing that make Google Form special than any other form and survey application is, Google form have a lot of benefit such as the simple feature, and also free.

How to Make Online Form in Google Form?

• First thing first, you have to make sure that you already hold a Google account. If you already have the Google account, then please open your Google application and choose Drive application, click new choose other, and click the Google form feature. You will be directly lead to the Google form. 

• But if you haven't have a Google Account or Gmail, make the account first to register and use Google Form( Because to activate Google Form you have to have a Gmail or Google Account)
• Or please just go to the search engine and look for "Google Form" or go to the link Google Form
• After that if we want to make a new form, please click (+)
• After you get the blank form, you can change the appearance with change the theme and dont forget to rename your blank form with the name of your project and so on.
• After you fill the data and question that you need, you can review your online form first before you share it with click the eye shape button to chech your work.
• If you already done, click send to share your work. You can also send your online form using email or link.

What is The most Favorite Thing in Using Google Form?

Google form is very easy to make any survey, questionnaire assignment, and so on. However there are bunch of survey online poll that you can find in the interenet as well, but there are some reason why Google Form is the best tools to make an Online form:

1. Free account. With all of the great tools and feature that you get in Google form, you can also access it with free account without need any further payment to increase the account. The only thing that you have to have is Internet data connection. As long as you have the connection then you can use Google form every time you want.
2. Make a form with unlimited participants. Yes absolutely you will never get afraid with the limited corresponded that can fill out your form. Because in Google form, with a single form that you make you can share it with unlimited participants hundred, thousand and more, as long as you share the link to every respondent, they can access and give the feedback on your form as soon as possible.
3. Particpant doesn’t have to have a Google account to fill out the form. Although you have to have a Google account if you want to make a form in Google form, but not for the participants. Because as the participants they do not have to have Google account to join and fulfill the form.
   
4. Friendly with any device. You can easily access Google form either in laptop, Personal computer, or Smartphone as long as your Google account can connect with that device. You can make Google form in those device, even if you want to make a sudden and quick form you can use your Smartphone to make an online form that you want.
5. The collaboration program. Like any other Google feature, if you want to make a form in Google form you can invite your friend to join in helping you make the form. You can invite your friend with using email and they will get an email to join in editing, view only, or just give the comment in the form.
6. Simple and easy. The benefit as the newbie that I got for the first time using Google form is easy and simple. In contrast with survey monkey which is I have to make a online form with bit complicated interface and sometime make me confused, But in Google form the appearance is very simple and make easy to use also the theme make me easier to design my online polls as beautiful as possible.
7. Got the data respond faster in excel spreadsheet mode. If you want to look for the data that you collect from your online survey, No need to worry because every data that you get from the participant you can get it in Excel spreadsheet mode. It will mke you easier in checking also analyze the data further. 
   
8. Save mode. The most favorite feature that I like while using Google form or any other Google platform is, I do not have to worry if I forget to not save the online form that I make, or there are black out of the blue because every time I make a online form in Google form all of the data will be automatically saved.
9. Access it everywhere and anywhere. The greatest thing that I like when using Google feature is, I can save all of the data and access it everywhere as long as I have my Google account and internet data connection. Without any complicated device support to keep the file such as flash disk, hard disk or so on. Jut open the internet login to my account and I can access everything. 

The Thing That I dont Like in Google Form

Google form is easy and very friendly to use, I can make an online form easily, beautifully, quickly, and also free. However there are still some weaknesses or some aspects that I dont like when using Google Form such as:

1. Online mode only. Yes Google form can be used in online mode only. It means if you want to make or edit some online form that you have made. You have to make sure that you have a good internet connection to be connected in Google form.
2. Internet Speed. Google form is using online polls media, it means you have to be connected with internet data connection. The problem is when you don’t have a good internet data connection, and then you will have difficulty to access, share and upload your project.
3. Have to fill out the form using internet connection. The problem is, not all of the participant have a great internet connection or even a device that support this feature. If the internet connection is bad or maybe you are run out of battery in your device you will have difficulties to fill out the form.
4. Have to have Gmail account. Absolutely the core of every Google account feature is Gmail. If you don’t have a Gmail account then you cannot make a Google form. That is why if you want to use Google form please makes sure that you already have Gmail.

Why and How we Should Use Google Form in Learning and Teaching Process?

We are now living in the era where the digital thing is grow fast and surrond our education life. Technology make something difficult become simpler such as to make an online quiz, group work, assignment and so on with using Google Form feature from Google. We should use Google form especially in Educational matter to develop the material using an advance media in learning and teaching process. With using Google Form there lot of benefit either for the teacher or students. Google Form can be used by Students to discuss or make any group work  easily, or to help the teacher job to manage the assignment, feedback, check student's homework or submission. Google Form is the best online poll that can be access easily and more important is also simple, easy to use and will increase the quality of student and teacher in learning and teaching process in the classroom.

             Back ago, especially in my high school life, the only application that I know to make presentation is only Power point. I thought power point is the great application to make a great presentation at that time, but it changes when I learn and found out that there a lot of application over that we can use to make presentation become more interesting and also easy especially Google slide application. Google slide is an easy application that provided for every Google user. Basically Google slide is a presentation application to make our application become more interesting, like power point but in Google Slide we can found lot of benefit that we can not find it in the power point. Every people who have a Google account they will directly can use that application without require to make a new account anymore. Here I will share some the tips and trick how to make a presentation using Google slide and the strength and also the weaknesses using this application.

How to make Presentation in Google Slide.

First thing first, to make a presentation using this application is very easy, the only thing you need to do is:

•  You have to make sure that you have a Gmail(Google mail) account, If you already have a Gmail account, login in your Gmail and you will be directly lead to the Google slide application.
• After that, to make a new presentation point you need to click “Start a new presentation”option.
• After click that, you will have your presentation paper work. You can change your theme or use the usual theme that Google slide give the first time.
• After you’ve done with your presentation making process, don’t forget to rename “Untitled presentation” box above, with your presentation title name, and your presentation will automatically saved in your Google slide account. It’s very easy right.

The Google Slide's Strength

Google slide application is easy to use and we can access it anytime as long as we have an internet connection. The thing that I like the most while make a presentation with this application is:

1.     Collaboration program. What a great and creative tools that Google slide provide is we can edit the presentation with our friends, colleagues, in the different place even country. Google slide provide a collaboration program that make us can edit the presentation with our friends although we do not stay or live in the same place or country with them. Collaboration program is very easy to use, we just invite the collaborator using E-mail and they will have an access to edit the presentation together with us. No worry if we have a group presentation assignment and one of our friends do not want to help us to make it. In Google slide people who edit the page in the document will be recorded. All the tracks in the presentation will be recorded in this application so we can figure out someone who participate helping the presentation and someone who are not. Also Google slide give us the comment section box, which we can discuss the topic further via online with our friends.

2.     Lot of awesome input program. The good side using this app is, we can browse and develop our input program easily such as theme. Google slide over great choice to beautify the presentation page, and we can use lot of the theme and if want to add more theme, we also can download it via online or we can insert the theme as well. Not only the theme, we also can put a video in the page section to make our presentation more clear, and numerous font that we can use fastly, easily and free.

3.     Easy to access. The other benefit that I have experience using this application is, I can easily access the Google slide in any device. I can access it from my hand phone or any other gadget as long as my Google account with me I can login in any device that I like.

4.     Save automatically program. Any other great program over in this application is, the automatic save writing. I do not have to worry with the blackout anymore, because all of my writing will be saved automatically in my Google slide account. The ctr+S it not really needed in this application I suppose.

5.     Speaker notes. Every time I have a presentation in front of the class, I will also make a bunch of paper notes then I can read it  if I can not remember the point and the long explanation of my presentation. Bring lot of paper notes is very complicated if we speak before the class, it also make me look unprepare. Once again, everything changes when I using a Google slide application. The awesome side program that addict me to use this application is, I can secretly put my notes in the below of my presentation point which is only displayed on my computer screen, so the audience can not read my secret personal note, and I can make my presentation become more confident without my complicated paper notes anymore.

6.  Offline use. The other program that Google slide over to the user is, we can edit our presentation assignment in offline mode. Just download Google Slide application either in your computer, or gadget, and do some additional setting, I can edit my presentation offlline.

Google Slide's Weaknesess.

After realize lot of benefit that Google slide application over to the user 

above. I also experience the bad time while using this application program.

1.     Offline mode only provide if we are download the application. When I want to do some editing in offline mode, I have to download the app which the size is quite big and I have to remove some my app to install this app.

2.     Absolutely if we want to edit the last document via offline we have to make the first document via online, which is we still have to access it using internet.

3.     Using the High browser resolution. It happened to me when I want to edit my last file in my old computer, the Google Slide application can not open in my general Google chrome in my browser and ask me to increase my Google chrome browser.

4.     The collaborator program can be good option or can not be a good option. The problem in the collaborator program is, if one of our friends does the mistake while editing the presentation file, all the mistake will automatically save and can become more dangerous. 

Prezi

Prezi is a great presentation application to make the user become more creative with give the user chance to design and enhance their presentation appearance using lot of the tools. it actually a presentation tools like Power point and Google slide, but in prezi you do not make slide to show each point of your presentation, but in the prezi you have to zoom in or out and manage your presentation with maybe stick it into some cute icon and we click it and it will show every material of our presentation. My first experience using Prezi application I can said that this application is remarkable, I have never think that we can design our presentation look like video if we are preview it. Before I meet and use Prezi application, the only way I make a presentation only put the definition, notes, in the slide to slide and sometime add a picture so audience will not get bored, but right now I can make a presentation in the unique way, creative way and absolutely it very a great media to use when we want to make an interesting presentation that interact audience attention.

How to Create a Presentation in Prezi.

To make a great presentation using prezi is very easy, here I will give some explanation to make a presentation with Prezi.

1.  Open Prezi application, and sign up with your E-mail.
2. After you already fill all requirements in the sign up process, choose the free account mode, and create a public free account.Afterward you will have your Prize account and click get started.
3. Then, you will enter your prezi account and will find the recommendation video about guidance as the first people who login in the prezi if you do not want to watch it then skip.
4.  Next, Create New prezi .
5. Manage your presentation with choose the template which is provided in the prezi and click “Use This Template”. You can choose educational, business, marketing template and much more as you wish.
6. Edit your presentation with move the slide, and you can also add frame or subtopic if you need more.
7. After you finishing your work, don’t forget to rename your presentation names and click save.

The Prezi's Strength.

Absolutely Prezi application is very awesome and amazing, we can make the dull presentation become more interesting, and my favorite part when using this application is:

1.     Free account. With that great tools that prezi over to the user, we also can access it with free. We can make amazing presentation as a free user in the prezi only using the internet connection and we can make the audience do not get bored with new presentation appearence.

2.     Collaboration program. It’s same as Google Slides have, we can also invite our friend to join either for edit our presentation, or just send our presentation to make them can give the comment in our prezi although we do not in the same place. We can invite them using email, and they will receive our prezi presentation as soon as we send it.

3.     Numerous Template themes. The most awesome part is, I can choose and customize the theme like  my expectation. Prezi provide lot of template to their user, the template in the prezi are a lot. You can use the educational, business, marketing and much more. Even if we are not satisfied with the template that already given in the prezi, we can change it with insert the picture and make it as our template or background.

4.     Enrich with the latest Tools. Prezi almost have every tools that we need to make a great presentation. We can insert the YouTube video if we want to show some video to the audience, also prezi provide arrow tools, symbol and shape, draw line, highlighter, add music background and many more.

5.     Insert power point slide, if you still miss using a power point slide, no need to worry because I found out the tool in the prezi where we can add power point slide in our prezi presentation slide.

Prezi's Weakness.

Absolutely Prezi give lot of benefit for us to be more creative to make an interesting

presentation point and also make us learn how to design the presentation to the next level.

However with all of that strength, Prezi also have the weaknesses when use this 

presentation editing program such as:

1.  Need High Internet Connection. The thing that I do not like while making the presentation using prezi is, I have to wait the loading process for a very long time because prezi need high internet connection in processing and load the data. I spend lot of the time to wait the loading process , or go  to the Internet cafe to get the good internet connection for finishing the Presentation project in Prez more faster.
2.  High Browser quality. While I make a presentation in Prezi I have to change my computer until three times just because my computer and my friend’s computer do not have high browser quality.  I have to upgrade my browser which is take lot of the time and also space.
3.  Bit complicated.  If this the first time you are using this application, I highly recommend you to watch the video guidance about how to make prezi. Because Prezi is an advance presentation Application, it takes a lot of the time for me to learn and understand the use of the lay out of this application.
4.  PAY!. If you want to get more option, template and easiness to make the presentation using Prezi. You have to pay some money to get the higher great account quality.
5.  Zoom only. Prezi is an application to make a presentation with zoom in and out some area. The problem is, we can only zoom in and out which is very monotone and we have to thinking deeper to make our presentation do not look boring every time using this application.
6.  Online only. To access and edit the data in Prezi, we can not make it in offline mode like Google slide and power point do. That is why we have to make sure we have good Internet connection every time wan to use this presentation.
7.  Computer only. Very different with Google slide, we can not access and edit our presentation in Hand phone. Actually we can download Prezi application in the Google Play Store, but it only to play the presentation not for making or do the editing.

         Google slide and Prezi absolutely have their own strength and weaknesess  because of the different program that they over to the user. Actually Either we use Google slide or Prezi, we can get lot of benefit with using that application to make our presentation become more enchanting in the easy way. However, after using Google slide and Prezi app, I prefer to use Google Slide application than Prezi application.  I choose Google Slide because it more simpler to use and  I can access it anytime  either in my Computer or hand phone for sudden presentation. I can make and edit presentation using google slide in my Hand phone as well. Beside simple and more easy to use, Google slide application do not require High Internet connection like Prezi do.

Which One better??

In my view, to increase and develop our material lesson especially in Educational matter, especially to teach the student, Google Slide and Prezi are useful program that can be taught in the student to increase and boost their creativity to design a good presentation with using those application. Especially in the teaching process, the teacher can use those application to make and deliver the lesson material become more interesting and increase students attention and curiosity.
